Papa's shadow

As I said, we just got back from Wilmington and Bobby was of course Papa's little helper and shadow. Dad is building an outdoor shower for all of us this summer! It will be so nice to be able to wash the kids off BEFORE they track all the sand and dirt throughout the house. So Bobby was Dad's assistant all week. Right now, Bobby thinks that it is a fort and just another place to play:)

Tutu time

We spent the last week and a half in Wilmington visiting family and friends, and introducing Samantha to everyone. But while we were there I decided to convince my mom to try and make tutus! They turned out really cute although Samantha wasn't sure what to make of them:) So while I had the props made, we had another photo shoot, enjoy!

8 weeks

A couple of weeks late, but here are Samantha's stats as of her 8 week checkup:

11 lbs 9 oz
24 inches long!!

She is in the 75% bracket for both height and weight, so she is doing great!! I can't believe how fast time is passing.

Wordless Wednesday

Where does time go?

I only get about five minutes at a time on the computer, so please scroll down to see several posts that I have been working on, but just got finished:)

And might I add that I am sick of the cold, wet weather. We woke up to a bit of snow again this morning...it is MARCH!! I am ready to wear flip flops and enjoy the outdoors. But I think it is supposed to be nice this weekend and next week, so my fingers are crossed.

Bobby turns 3!!!

This past weekend we had a birthday celebration for Bobby with family and a few friends. I truly can not believe that he is 3!! He is growing up so quickly and time is just passing us by. Bobby is definitely turning into a little man all on his own. He talks constantly, runs constantly, and tests all boundaries given to him. But he also is the sweetest little guy in the world. Nothing makes me happier than when he says "I love you mommy", for no reason other than to say it:) My heart just melts. And as smart as he is, he is learning that it can get him out of a lot of trouble too:) Here are some pictures...enjoy!

One Month....

Well, she is actually almost 6 weeks old and it is truly hard for me to believe that time is going by so quickly! Samantha is doing great and we are all adjusting pretty well. At her 4 week checkup, she was in the 75% for both height and weight, so she is totally proportional! Nursing continues to go well, and other than her nightly crying fits, we are doing great! Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks. Hopefully as the sleeping improves, my posting will improve:)
